Data Audit is an add-on utility for Microsoft Dynamics™ CRM 4.0. It allows you to track changes made to the CRM 4.0 in flexible and configurable manners. You can configure what information and actions are recorded, including custom entities and custom attributes.

Data Audit delivers these features:
· Track record retrieval and/or changes made to the CRM data, e.g. create, update, delete, change of ownership, etc.
· See the Previous Value and New Value during an update of any CRM record.
· Configure what entities and attributes are being tracked.
· Provide a detailed audit trail to illustrate how a record achieves the current state of values.
· Customize the views and screens with the built-in customization feature provided by Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0.
· Add new queries or templates to perform sophisticated enquiries to the data audit records.
· Increase compliance to various regulations, e.g. Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), by providing an audit trail of electronic records.
· Configure data audit on a per organization basis when using Microsoft Dynamic CRM 4.0 Enterprise Edition.
Only the attribute values that have been changed are being audited with both Previous Value and New Value
Custom views can be added by the built-in Advanced Find or Templates feature
Data Audit is shipped with a predefined set of template, which can be used for further customization
